Cooperation With European High-end Chain Hotels
Project Background
We have partnered with a renowned high-end hotel chain brand operating across multiple European countries to provide a full set of guestroom furniture solutions for its 50 chain hotels. The client’s core challenge was to achieve unified procurement and efficient delivery across stores in various countries while complying with the differentiated safety standards and environmental regulations of each country.
Project Challenges
Compatibility with Multiple National Standards
European countries impose different requirements on furniture safety certifications, fire resistance ratings, and environmental standards. Traditionally, single-specification products cannot meet the compliance requirements of all stores at the same time, creating a long-standing bottleneck of inconsistent standards for cross-border unified procurement.
Inefficiency of Decentralized Procurement
Previously, the client adopted a store-by-store procurement model, which resulted in complex procurement processes, weak bargaining power, high logistics costs, and difficulty in uniformly controlling delivery lead times.
Solutions
Development of Modular Guestroom Furniture System
We customized a modular guestroom furniture system for the client. By combining standardized core components with interchangeable finishes and dimension modules, we achieved a flexible configuration of “unified foundation, adaptable surface”. Under the same supply chain system, this solution can quickly generate product combinations that meet the certification requirements of different countries.
Unified Procurement and Centralized Delivery
Supported by the modular design, the client achieved unified procurement and phased delivery across 50 chain hotels for the first time. We integrated production scheduling and cross-border logistics resources, greatly simplifying the client’s procurement and management process.
Project Results
· Logistics costs reduced by 25%: Unified procurement and integrated transportation eliminated logistics redundancy caused by decentralized shipments across multiple countries, significantly optimizing overall transportation costs.
· Delivery cycle shortened by 40%: Modular production and standardized processes greatly improved order response speed, significantly compressing delivery time for new store openings and guestroom renovations.
· Zero compliance risks: All products passed relevant safety and environmental certifications in target countries, with no compliance issues throughout project delivery.
This cooperation has provided stable, efficient and compliant supply chain support for the client’s large-scale expansion in the European market, and also demonstrated our professional delivery capability in supporting cross-border high-end hotel projects.
